Classic Brownies

With a crispy crust on the outside and a soft, chocolatey inside, Brownies are a classic and irresistible dessert. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth with lots of flavor and convenience!




Ingredients:

1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter

1 cup (200 g) sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup (35 g) cocoa powder

1/2 cup (65 g) wheat flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking powder


Optional:

1/2 cup walnuts, chestnuts or chocolate chips


Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a square pan (20x20 cm) or line it with parchment paper.

Melt the butter and then mix it with the sugar, eggs and vanilla until you get a smooth batter.

Add the cocoa, flour, salt and baking powder. Mix until combined (do not overbeat).

If desired, add nuts or chocolate.

Pour the batter into the pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Let cool before cutting.


Extra tip:

For a chewier brownie, do not overbake.

Serve with vanilla ice cream or a sprinkle of fleur de sel on top for a gourmet touch.
